Congratulations to the EU!
The European Union looks like it has reached agreement on a new Constitution, and the latest reports are saying that they've left god out of it.
I seem to remember America doing that as well, though if you talked to a religious righter, you'd never know it ...

Is Bush cracking up? Does he really think everything he does is the Will of God? If this is who a god picks for a president, there's one more reason to be an atheist.

It is a shame that the Supreme Court has side-stepped the issue of Church-State separation today, choosing to rule against Michael Newdow on a technicality. This was a non-ruling. It did not address the issue of "under god" as a religious statement. American Atheists continue to work for absolute separation of state/church, and will continue to press for the removal of a religious statement from a government-endorsed pledge.
